  • Serial number verification.
  • Accessory and component verification.

  • Take photographs of the outer packaging.
  • Take photographs of the product and visible damage.

Possible Resolution:Where the wrong product was supplied due to an error attributable to SNCEC, an appropriate replacement or alternative resolution may be provided subject to availability.
13

Defective Product

If a product develops a verified manufacturing or functional defect, SNCEC may first determine whether the issue is covered by the manufacturer's warranty or applicable product terms.

Depending on the product and warranty terms, the customer may be directed to an authorized service center or manufacturer support channel.

14

Manufacturer Warranty

Certain products may carry a manufacturer warranty.

Warranty claims may be governed by the manufacturer's warranty period, exclusions, service procedures and conditions.

Manufacturer warranty does not normally cover damage caused by:

  • Accidental damage.
  • Liquid or moisture exposure.
  • Unauthorized repair or modification.
  • Improper installation.
  • Electrical surge or unstable power supply.
  • Improper use or negligence.
15

Customized & Configured Products

Customized, assembled or specially configured products may not be eligible for return merely because the customer has changed their mind.

Examples include:

  • Custom-built desktop computers.
  • Special RAM or storage configurations.
  • Special software configuration.
  • Customer-specific hardware combinations.
  • Specially sourced products or components.

Defective or incorrectly supplied customized products may still be subject to applicable warranty, replacement and consumer rights.

Return Shipping Charges

Where a return is approved because SNCEC supplied an incorrect, damaged or defective product, SNCEC may arrange or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs, subject to verification.

Where a return is requested for reasons unrelated to a defect, incorrect product or error attributable to SNCEC, the customer may be responsible for applicable return shipping and handling charges.

17

Exchange for Different Product

Exchange for a different product model or specification is not automatically available.

If SNCEC agrees to an exchange, the customer may be required to pay any applicable price difference, shipping cost, configuration charge or other disclosed amount.

18

Refund Instead of Replacement

Where a verified defective, damaged or incorrect product cannot reasonably be repaired or replaced, SNCEC may consider a refund in accordance with the applicable Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.

Refund processing may depend on the original payment method, verification results and applicable payment processing conditions.

19

Fraudulent or Abusive Returns

SNCEC reserves the right to investigate suspected fraudulent, abusive or repeated return claims.

A return or replacement request may be rejected where there is evidence of:

  • Intentional product damage.
  • False information.
  • Product substitution.
  • Altered or missing serial numbers.
  • Unauthorized modification.
  • Fraudulent payment activity.
  • Repeated misuse of the return process.
