Installing Applications

Installing Applications का मतलब computer में किसी software/application को इस तरह add और configure करना है कि वह Windows पर properly run किया जा सके।

Simple words में, Application Install करने का मतलब software को computer में setup करके use करने के लिए तैयार करना है।

Application Install क्यों करते हैं?

Windows में default applications के अलावा user अपनी जरूरत के अनुसार additional software install कर सकता है।

Application Install करने के Sources

Windows application अलग-अलग trusted sources से install की जा सकती है।

1. Microsoft Store

Microsoft Store से compatible applications को download और install किया जा सकता है।

Basic Process:

Microsoft Store → Search App → Get/Install → Installation

2. Official Website

Software की official website से installer download करके application install की जा सकती है।

Official Website → Download → Installer → Setup

Unknown websites से software download करने से बचना चाहिए।

Application Install करने से पहले

Installation से पहले कुछ important बातें check करें:

Application Installation के Basic Steps

UAC क्या है?

Installation Location

Applications Windows में commonly system drive पर install होती हैं।

लेकिन exact installation location software और configuration पर depend करती है।

Custom और Default Installation

कुछ installers दो प्रकार के options दे सकते हैं:

Default/Typical Installation:
Recommended settings के साथ automatically install करता है।

Custom Installation:
User को installation location, components और other options चुनने देता है।

अगर installer unwanted additional software offer करे, तो Custom/Advanced options carefully review करना useful है।

Application Installation के बाद

Installation complete होने के बाद:

Start Menu में application दिखाई दे सकती है।
Desktop shortcut बनाया जा सकता है।
Taskbar पर pin किया जा सकता है।
Application open करके test की जा सकती है।

Application Uninstall करना

अगर application की जरूरत नहीं है, तो Windows Settings से uninstall किया जा सकता है।

1. Insufficient Storage

अगर disk में पर्याप्त free space नहीं है, तो installation fail हो सकती है।

2. Compatibility Problem

Software आपके Windows version या hardware के साथ compatible नहीं हो सकता।

3. Permission Problem

कुछ applications को installation के लिए administrator permission की आवश्यकता हो सकती है।

4. Corrupted Installer

Incomplete या damaged installer से installation error हो सकती है।

5. Security Risk

Unknown source से downloaded software में malware हो सकता है।

Software केवल trusted/official sources से download करें।
Publisher और digital signature, जहाँ applicable हो, verify करें।
