Characteristics of Computers
Computer की कुछ ऐसी विशेषताएँ होती हैं जो उसे एक powerful और useful electronic machine बनाती हैं। Computer बहुत कम समय में बड़ी मात्रा में data को process कर सकता है और result दे सकता है।
1. High Speed — तेज गति
Computer बहुत fast speed से calculations और processing करता है। जो काम इंसान को काफी समय में करना पड़े, computer उसे कुछ seconds में कर सकता है।
Example: हजारों numbers का calculation जल्दी करना।
2. Accuracy — शुद्धता
Computer सही instructions और सही data मिलने पर बहुत accurate result देता है।
Example: Calculator में सही numbers डालने पर सही answer मिलता है।
3. Large Storage — अधिक संग्रहण क्षमता
Computer में बड़ी मात्रा में data को store किया जा सकता है।
Example: Documents, photos, videos और software को HDD, SSD या other storage devices में save करना।
4. Automation — स्वचालन
एक बार instructions और required data देने के बाद computer बिना बार-बार human intervention के काम कर सकता है।
Example: Scheduled backup automatically होना।
5. Diligence — थकान न होना
Computer लगातार कई घंटों तक काम कर सकता है। उसे इंसानों की तरह थकान या boredom नहीं होता।
Example: एक ही calculation को हजारों बार करना।
6. Versatility — बहुउपयोगिता
Computer अलग-अलग प्रकार के काम कर सकता है।
Example:
Education, banking, accounting, designing, programming, communication और entertainment आदि।
7. Reliability — विश्वसनीयता
Computer लगातार और consistent तरीके से काम कर सकता है। सही hardware, software और instructions होने पर यह बार-बार समान result दे सकता है।
8. Multitasking — एक साथ कई कार्य
Computer एक समय में कई applications या tasks को handle कर सकता है।
Example: Music चलाते हुए document typing और web browsing करना।
9. Communication — संचार
Computer की मदद से हम internet के माध्यम से दुनिया के किसी भी हिस्से में information भेज और प्राप्त कर सकते हैं।
Example: Email, video calling और online messaging।
10. No Intelligence of Its Own — अपनी बुद्धि नहीं
Computer स्वयं से निर्णय नहीं लेता। वह दिए गए instructions और programmed logic के अनुसार काम करता है।
Example: Computer को कोई specific task करने के लिए appropriate instructions/program की आवश्यकता होती है।
