Computer आज हमारी daily life और professional work का एक important part बन चुका है। इसके कई advantages हैं, लेकिन इसकी कुछ limitations भी हैं। Computer कितना useful होगा, यह इस बात पर depend करता है कि हम उसे किस तरह use करते हैं।

Advantages of Computers

1. High Speed — तेज गति

Computer बहुत तेजी से calculations और data processing कर सकता है।

Example: हजारों records को कुछ seconds में process करना।

2. Accuracy — शुद्धता

सही data और instructions मिलने पर computer बहुत accurate results देता है।

3. Large Storage — अधिक Storage

Computer बड़ी मात्रा में documents, images, videos और other data store कर सकता है।

4. Saves Time — समय की बचत

Computer कई काम manually करने की तुलना में बहुत कम समय में कर देता है।

5. Automation — स्वचालित कार्य

Program और instructions मिलने के बाद computer कई tasks automatically perform कर सकता है।

Computer पर हम एक साथ कई applications का उपयोग कर सकते हैं।

Limitations of Computers

1. No Common Sense — सामान्य समझ नहीं

Computer के पास इंसानों जैसी common sense नहीं होती। यह programmed instructions के अनुसार काम करता है।

2. No Emotions — भावनाएँ नहीं

Computer के पास happiness, sadness, anger जैसी human emotions नहीं होतीं।

3. Depends on Instructions

Computer को काम करने के लिए proper instructions या program की आवश्यकता होती है।

4. Wrong Input, Wrong Output

अगर input या instructions गलत हैं, तो output भी गलत हो सकता है।

इसे अक्सर GIGO — Garbage In, Garbage Out कहा जाता है।

5. Electricity Required

अधिकांश computers को काम करने के लिए electricity या battery power की आवश्यकता होती है।

6. Security Risks

Computer और internet का गलत उपयोग करने पर viruses, malware, hacking और data theft जैसी problems हो सकती हैं।

7. Maintenance Cost

Computer hardware, software और network की maintenance में खर्च हो सकता है।

8. Health Problems

Computer का लंबे समय तक गलत posture में उपयोग करने से eye strain, back pain और other physical problems हो सकती हैं।
