Uninstalling Applications

Uninstalling Applications का मतलब computer से किसी installed application को proper तरीके से remove करना है। Uninstall करने पर application के program files और उससे related components को Windows या उसके uninstaller के माध्यम से हटाया जाता है।

Simple words में, Uninstall का मतलब computer से unwanted software को सुरक्षित तरीके से remove करना है।

Application Uninstall क्यों करते हैं?

Applications को uninstall करने के common reasons:

Software की जरूरत नहीं है।
Storage space free करना है।
Application में problems आ रही हैं।
किसी दूसरे software से replace करना है।
Duplicate या unused applications हटानी हैं।
Security reasons से unwanted software remove करना है।

Method 1 — Windows Settings से Uninstall

Modern Windows में application uninstall करने का common तरीका:

Step 1:
Settings → Apps → Installed Apps

Step 2: जिस application को remove करना है, उसे find करें।

Step 3: Application के सामने More options (⋯) पर click करें।

Step 4: Uninstall select करें।

Step 5: अगर confirmation दिखाई दे, तो Uninstall confirm करें।

Step 6: अगर application का अपना uninstaller open हो, तो उसके instructions follow करें।

Method 2 — Start Menu से

कुछ applications के लिए Start Menu से directly uninstall option available हो सकता है।

Start → All Apps → Application → Right Click → Uninstall

इसके बाद Windows Settings या application का uninstaller open हो सकता है।

Method 3 — Control Panel

कुछ traditional desktop applications को Control Panel से भी uninstall किया जा सकता है।

Control Panel → Programs → Programs and Features

फिर:

Application Select → Uninstall/Change

यह method विशेष रूप से older Win32 applications के लिए useful हो सकता है।

कुछ applications अपने user data, preferences या shared components को पूरी तरह remove नहीं करतीं। इसलिए uninstall का मतलब हमेशा हर related file का 100% removal नहीं होता।
