What is a Computer?

Computer एक electronic machine है जो हमारे द्वारा दिए गए data और instructions को receive करता है, उन्हें process करता है और useful information/result देता है।

Simple words में, computer एक ऐसी machine है जो काम को fast, accurate और आसान बनाने में हमारी मदद करती है।

Computer कैसे काम करता है?

Computer का basic working cycle चार steps में समझ सकते हैं:

Input → Processing → Output → Storage

1. Input: हम computer को data या instruction देते हैं।
   Example: Keyboard से अपना नाम type करना।
2. Processing: Computer दिए गए data पर calculation या processing करता है।
   Example: 50 + 30 की calculation करना।
3. Output: Processing के बाद computer result दिखाता है।
   Example: Screen पर 80 दिखाई देना।
4. Storage: Data या result को future use के लिए save किया जा सकता है।
   Example: किसी document को hard disk/SSD में save करना।

Computer के मुख्य भाग

एक सामान्य computer system में मुख्य रूप से ये parts होते हैं:

• Input Devices — Keyboard, Mouse, Scanner
• CPU (Central Processing Unit) — Computer का मुख्य processing unit
• Output Devices — Monitor, Printer, Speaker
• Memory — RAM, ROM
• Storage — HDD, SSD, Pen Drive

Computer की विशेषताएँ

Computer की कुछ important characteristics हैं:

• High Speed — बहुत तेजी से काम करता है।
• Accuracy — सही instructions मिलने पर accurate result देता है।
• Storage — बहुत सारा data store कर सकता है।
• Automation — instructions के अनुसार automatically काम कर सकता है।
• Versatility — अलग-अलग प्रकार के काम कर सकता है।
• Reliability — लगातार और consistently काम कर सकता है।

Computer का उपयोग कहाँ होता है?

आज computer का उपयोग लगभग हर field में होता है:

Education, Banking, Business, Healthcare, Government, Railway, Communication, Agriculture, Science, Entertainment और Online Services आदि में।

आसान उदाहरण

मान लीजिए आपको दो numbers जोड़ने हैं:

Input: 25 और 15
↓
Processing: Computer addition करता है
↓
Output: 40
↓
Storage: Result को file में save किया जा सकता है।
