Recycle Bin Windows operating system का एक special system location है, जहाँ computer से normally delete की गई files और folders temporarily stored हो सकती हैं।

Simple words में, Recycle Bin deleted files के लिए एक temporary holding area है, जहाँ से accidentally deleted files को वापस Restore किया जा सकता है।

Recycle Bin का काम

जब आप किसी internal drive से सामान्य तरीके से file या folder delete करते हैं, तो वह तुरंत permanently remove होने के बजाय Recycle Bin में जा सकता है।

Basic Process:

File → Delete → Recycle Bin → Restore / Permanent Delete

Recycle Bin में File कैसे जाती है?

मान लीजिए आपके पास:

DCA Notes.pdf

File है।

आपने इसे select करके Delete दबाया।

तो सामान्य स्थिति में:

DCA Notes.pdf → Recycle Bin

File अपनी original location से हटकर Recycle Bin में दिखाई दे सकती है।

Recycle Bin से File Restore करना

अगर कोई file गलती से delete हो गई है, तो उसे Restore किया जा सकता है।

Steps:

Step 1: Desktop पर Recycle Bin open करें।

Step 2: Deleted file या folder select करें।

Step 3: Right Click → Restore

File अपनी original location पर वापस चली जाएगी।

Recycle Bin से File Permanently Delete करना

अगर आपको deleted file की जरूरत नहीं है, तो उसे permanently delete किया जा सकता है।

Steps:

Step 1: Recycle Bin open करें।

Step 2: File select करें।

Step 3: Right Click → Delete

इसके बाद file normal Restore option से वापस नहीं लाई जा सकती।

Recycle Bin में मौजूद सभी items को एक साथ permanently remove करने के लिए:

Recycle Bin की Important Features

1. Temporary Storage

Deleted files को permanently remove करने से पहले temporary location provide करता है।

2. Restore

Accidentally deleted files को वापस लाने में मदद करता है।

3. Permanent Deletion

Unwanted deleted files को permanently remove किया जा सकता है।

4. Storage Management

Recycle Bin में deleted files भी disk space ले सकती हैं। इसे empty करने से storage space free हो सकती है।

Recycle Bin में File न जाए तो?

हर deletion Recycle Bin में नहीं जाता।

कुछ situations में file permanently delete हो सकती है, जैसे:

Shift + Delete का उपयोग
Recycle Bin settings के कारण
कुछ removable/network storage locations
कुछ system/application-specific deletion operations

इसलिए Recycle Bin को complete backup या data recovery system नहीं समझना चाहिए।

Recycle Bin की Properties

Recycle Bin पर:

Right Click → Properties

करने पर Windows version के अनुसार settings देखी या बदली जा सकती हैं।

इनमें selected drive के लिए:

Recycle Bin storage size
Deleted files के handling options

जैसे settings हो सकती हैं।

Important: Recycle Bin backup का replacement नहीं है।

Practical Example

मान लीजिए आपने गलती से:

Student List.xlsx

delete कर दिया।

Delete → Recycle Bin

फिर:

Recycle Bin → Student List.xlsx → Right Click → Restore

अब file अपनी previous location पर वापस आ जाएगी।
