Firmware

Firmware एक प्रकार का low-level software है जो किसी hardware device के basic functions और operations को control करने में मदद करता है। यह आमतौर पर device की non-volatile memory में stored रहता है।

Simple words में, Firmware hardware को basic level पर काम करने के लिए जरूरी instructions provide करता है।

Firmware का काम

Firmware device के hardware को initialize करने, basic operations perform करने और higher-level software के साथ काम करने में मदद करता है।

Basic Flow:

Power ON → Firmware → Hardware Initialization → Operating System/Device Operation

1. Hardware Initialization

Computer या device start होने पर firmware hardware components को initialize करने में मदद करता है।

Example: Computer के motherboard का UEFI firmware startup के दौरान hardware initialization करता है।

2. Basic Hardware Control

Firmware hardware के basic operations को control करने के लिए instructions provide करता है।

Example: Printer का firmware printing mechanism और device functions को control करने में मदद कर सकता है।

3. Boot Process में Role

Firmware के Examples

1. Motherboard Firmware
